10 years...I was...

I had alot of fun my senior year but alot of it was tinged with sadness. Unrequainted love for a friend. I was just like a brother to her. So cliche, yet for them, so true. Biola wasn't really on the radar at this time...(i transferred in '97) The only time I had heard about Biola was from a friend of mine, she used to wear a Biola sweatshirt.
I had no facial hair, weighed less and didn't have much self-confidence when it came to the opposite sex. Had great parents, good friends and I made people laugh. I think back to this time because in a few months I will be seeing alot of these people again from High School at our 10 year reunion...saying things like 'I killed the President of Paraguay with a fork? How have you been?' just to throw some of them off...I am sure some of them will catch the reference.

10 years....

What were you doing 10 years ago? I was a senior at Monte Vista Christian High School. Elsewhere in the United States Clinton was serving his second term, Coolio was enjoying his Gangsta's Paradise, the Federal building in Oklahoma was bombed, O.J. was found innocent and Mickey M. and Jerry G. left us forever. In the world, the World Trade Organization was being established, Saddam was refusing to disarm and Israel lost Rabin to an assassin's bullet. Think back to where you were.

Autumn's Star Wars

Today I took Autumn to her first film...Star Wars. She was such a good girl and the great thing is that now I will have one of those stories to tell her when she is 10 to make her embarrassed but happy. She was great and didn't cry one time during the whole movie. That will be part of the story. She loves sound and music and noise...not only do I love her but it has been really easy to like her. I may include that she would only start crying on the way home when i turned down the radio. She liked House of Pain the best.
